Release 19.1 ships two quality of life improvements based on early feedback.

Creating a Club No Longer Requires Identity Information

Anyone can now create a club without first providing identity information. Identity verification is only requested when a user applies for a verified account.

Getting a club started should be as low-friction as possible. The identity step was a barrier that came too early in the process, before a user had any reason to commit to it. Moving that requirement to verified accounts means clubs can get off the ground faster.

Event Preview Links Now Show the Time

When a club member shares a preview link for a members-only event, the link metadata now includes the event time alongside the date. Anyone who sees the preview in a social feed or messaging app gets a clearer picture of what they are looking at before they even click through.
