Release 24
Release 24 adds a help system you can reach for wherever you're stuck, makes the Explore map smarter about what it shows you, and tightens up a few edit-page details.
Help, right where you need it
Confusing field on a form? Click the help icon next to it. Fields across your account, club, and event edit pages - things like Handle, Meet Frequency, and Neighborhood/Location - now have a small help button that opens a short explanation on the spot.
Explore links that show you only what you need
The "Find people to invite" link on your club manager's Prospects tab now takes you straight to a map showing user markers, with club markers tucked out of the way. Previously, club markers could crowd out the very people you were trying to see. Any link into Explore can now pre-scope which marker types are visible, not just that one.
Search engines get a clearer signal
We added a robots.txt alongside the sitemap from Release 23, pointing crawlers at /sitemap.xml and confirming all public pages are open to indexing. One more small step toward your club being found by the people looking for it.
Smaller refinements
- Club edit page widths were adjusted for a cleaner layout, and category titles are now fully translated.
- Profile list views (used across dashboards and club pages) were refactored into smaller, reusable pieces, with page titles now properly localized.
What next?
lookingforgroup.social was created to get people connected in the real world. We need community leaders (a.k.a. club managers) to form clubs and we need users to enable that 'Searchable' toggle. Let everyone know you're ready to be social!
